Another Cluster

We will be starting the last new cluster before the TAKS test. It is Cluster 8 and it covers geometry. It is a vocabulary heavy cluster, so please try to review/ use the math terms with your child over the next two weeks.
Geometry Vocabulary:
acute, intersecting lines, line, line segment, vertex,obtuse angle, right angle, ray,parallel lines, perpendicular line, parallelogram, and all the polygons (rectangles, squares etc.)

The 5th grade will meet this morning with counselors form Stafford to talk about next year. Please be on the look out for registration information. If you have any question please feel free to contact your students homeroom teacher.

Welcome back everyone. I hope that we all stayed warm over the past week.

This week in math, if the weather doesn't change things, we will take the Practice TAKS test on Thursday. The CBA that we were going to take will be move to early next week.

Make sure your student get plenty of rest on Wednesday night.

Also if you didn't know the real TAKS test will be on a Monday this year.
